Pink Martini 's debut Sympathique opens with Amado Mio. The song was written by Doris Fischer and Allan Roberts and became famous with the Film Noir classic Gilda from 1946. Though Rita Hayworth made the song popular, it isn't her voice that you hear in the film, but that of Anita Ellis. This video is dubbed again, now with the voice of China Frobes of Pink Martini.
